On the 5th of May we celebrate the Liberation of the Netherlands in WW II and I decided to make some panties with in the colors of our national flag: red, white, blue together with orange.
Ik heb in mijn zelfgetekende basispatroon vlakverdelingen gemaakt en deze verwerkt in de slip. Het was wel even puzzelen om de juiste stukken aan elkaar te zetten, vandaar dan ik maar met gekleurde speldeknoppen aan de slag ben gegaan.I had to use the colored tips of the pins to make sure that I would sew the right parts together:
Alles is uit eigen voorraad ivm 4 op een rij, dus helaas is de kleur blauw niet helemaal gelijk aan de driekleur, maar goed...Nu nog een bh erbij maken.Because I am in a so called Use What You Have period I did only use material from my own stash (yes!!). Now I only have to find some time to make a bra to go with the panties, and I will be ready to cheer on our national football team at the World Championship in June!
Wauw! Das nog eens een toepasselijke activiteit op bevrijdingsdag!! En nog wel voor de WK! Maar hoe ga je dit nu showen tijdens de wedstrijden??? ;-)
